Monica Hart is a former newscaster and news magazine host who turned a passion for entertaining into a second career. Today, she’s telling stories on TV and in magazines through her delicious and stylish get-togethers. Her family and friend gatherings showcase special details that transform meals into experiences.

She’s also a Pinterest influencer with 30K+ followers. As a self-taught interior designer who creates beautiful spaces on a budget, her pins include ideas for gardening, repurposing, tablescapes and unusual cocktails. Her Lavender Blackberry Martini Drop Cocktail was pinned six thousand times. See picture of cocktail in profile.

Her most challenging and adventurous design project was also very personal. Acting as contractor and designer she rebuilt a fourteen year old fixer-upper and transformed it into a five thousand square foot, multi-million dollar show stopper overlooking Lake Washington.

Monica’s magnificent home and creative lifestyle ideas are featured regularly in the lifestyle publication 425 Magazine. As the magazine’s monthly contributor she shares seasonal and holiday entertaining ideas, beautiful DIY’s and yummy recipes – Rustic Summer Peach Pies, Handmade Pumpkin Gnocchi, Spiral Veggie Tarts and Hot Pink Candid Apples.

For the past several years Monica’s been a regular lifestyle contributor on King5 TV in Seattle and has gone live from the studio and in the field. Her TV demos have been on everything from the best food for picnics, cookie decorating parties for the kids, natural holiday wreaths, Mother’s Day tablescapes to how flowers can be used to decorate a meal. Monica has also appeared twice on Hallmark’s Home and Family.

She’s also been featured in Better Homes and Gardens Magazine’s special edition Beautiful Kitchen and Baths and Distinctive Kitchen Solution Magazine and Seattle Homes & Lifestyles.

Monica’s love of  all things fresh and organic serves as the inspiration for her home and garden designs, cooking and entertaining ideas. Her distinct style has led to the creation of her blog La Famiglia Design.

“Girls’ Night In with Monica Hart” is another Hart project. Her popular DIY home entertaining course attracts hundreds of women anxious to learn the Hart Style. She’s also a well sough after lifestyle speaker at food and event venues attracting standing room only crowds.
